Peter presents his painting!

Peter Jones, a person we support in Hartlepool, this week presented one of his paintings to Councillor Susan Woodward of Staffordshire County Council, who was the lucky winner of a competition held by Dimensions at the recent Social Services conference in Bournemouth.
Peter, an accomplished artist, was commissioned by Dimensions to paint a picture that would be given away as a competition prize. Councillor Woodward was the lucky winner, and Peter made the trip to Staffordshire this week to present his picture personally.
Cllr Woodward said: "I am so pleased that Peter made the journey to present the prize to me. It presented a great opportunity to meet this talented man in person - his accomplishments are an example to others to show what can be achieved."
Last year, Peter received a supported employment grant from Dimensions to establish his own art business. His paintings are available for sale through this website.
Dimensions to hold free transitions seminars for parents

We are pleased to announce that we will be holding four transitions seminars for parents across the country next year.
If you are a parent of a child with a learning difficulty aged between 14-19 these seminars will help you to navigate your way through the transition process. Please contact us
